The world's largest single photovoltaic project successfully connected to the grid in Midong,Xinjiang.
The project is located in the northern desert of Midong District,Urumqi, covering an area of 15000 hectare,with utilization hours of 1740h and annual power generation of 6.09 billion kWh,equivalent to the annual power consumption of 3 million households. After the project is put into operation,1.4488 million tons of raw coal can be saved and 6.0717 million tons of carbon dioxide emission can be reduced each year.
Our company FGI has provided 28 sets of 50 MW SVG equipment for this project,with total compensation capacity up to 1400Mvar,effectively improving the power factor and stable voltage of the PV power station.
